The needs in Africa differ from Rimon’s other markets because fewer people have access to safe drinking water. Though there is constant progress in governments’ efforts to provide access to drinking water, even at the start of 2014, for example, 25.5% of Rwandan citizens did not have access to clean drinking water.
The consequences of this state of affairs means more people are occupied with the burden of bringing water from distant areas to their homes and more people suffer and die from waterborne diseases. In Angola as well, a country rich in lakes and rivers and where Rimon has carried out infrastructure projects, access to safe drinking water is growing but still many people are without.
Rimon understands these circumstances and tailors solutions that can quickly and efficiently provide water where needed.
