Construction of pumping station to transfer sewage from Ramle to the Ayalon wastewater treatment plant; flow rate of 430 m3/hour. Connecting water lines to the pumping station – 24 inches in diameter, 300 meters in length.
Contractor – Ofek Atarim
Construction of a tertiary wastewater treatment system for Hamat Gader, 30 m3/hour; BOT – build, operate and transfer – operation for 15 years
Rimon – Management, planning, construction, operation
Rimon is the driving force behind a renewable energy project, which uses wind turbines and PV panels to generate energy.
This exceptional project combines three different uses of the same ground area: The project is located on a 3 million m³ treated waste water reservoir, which is a part of one of Israel’s largest water reclamation projects. It is an excellent example of how to minimize environmental impact.
The wind farm is designed to generate 27 MW and the PV project will generate 3.7 MW.
